Danderfer, Genrich Iosifovich

Genrich (Henrich) Iosifovich Danderfer was born October 17, 1918 in Lennep, Germany. After graduating from the Moscow All-Union Engineering and Construction Institute in 1969, he moved to Almaty. Danderfer would collaborate with Yevgeniy Sidorkin and Oleg Bogomolov on two works made with a similar technique combining mosaic and concrete relief, one at Kazakhfilm and another at a musical school. 

In addition to his work in Almaty, Danderfer also had a major work of monumental art in the city of Kyzylorda.
