Izbaskanov, Mynseit Zharylgapovich

Mynseit Zharylgapovich Izbaskanov was born on January 19, 1950 into a Kazakh family in Aktobe Province, where his father would serve as the director of a collective farm. In 1974, Izbaskanov graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Industrial and Applied Arts (known as Stroganovka).

In addition to his work in Almaty, he made major works of monumental art in Taraz and Petropavlovsk.
